Rose is currently the Executive Director  CECORE , a position she has held since 2006. She has a rich experience of over 25 years in the area of peace building and Conflict Resolution. She is one of the authors of the International Resource Pack on “Conflict Sensitive Approaches to Development, Peace-building and Humanitarian Assistance (CSA). She has conducted several consultancies and trainings at national, regional and International level. She was one of the members of the Uganda Women’s Coalition for Peace who participated in engendering the Juba Peace Talks in 2008.

Rose has a background in Banking and Financial Management. She has participated in the formulation of National and Regional Instruments on Conflict Early Warning, Small Arms and Light Weapons etc. She has been a board member of organizations like Human Rights Network, Uganda Action Network for Small Arms; where she played key advisory roles; she also served as an expert in the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region, in the thematic areas of Peace and Security and Social and Humanitarian Affairs. Rose played a key role as the Gender Liaison for the Global Partnership for Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC) Mediation Working Group.

Rose participated in mediating complaints arising from effects of the Bujagali hydroelectric dam construction on the River Nile in Uganda that was co-funded by the International Finance Corporation.
