Support Local Peacebuilding

Donate to CECORE

Help us prevent violent conflict, empower youth & women, and strengthen local infrastructures for peace across Eastern & Central Africa.

Why donate?

CECORE uses locally-led solutions to prevent and transform conflict. Your donation supports peace education in schools, livelihood and reintegration programmes for youth, women’s leadership in peace processes, climate-security pilots, and regional coordination through GPPAC-ECA. Every gift – large or small – helps communities build safer, more resilient futures.

How your gift makes an impact

  • Support a Peace Champion — provide training, counselling and livelihood start-up support for a youth peace leader.

  • Fund Peace Education in Schools — supply teaching resources and school clubs that teach non-violent conflict resolution.

  • Strengthen Women’s Participation — finance women’s networks, trainings and small economic projects that enable participation in peace processes.

  • Scale Local Peace Infrastructures — help launch community dialogues, local mediation mechanisms, and climate-conflict pilot activities.

Transparency & Accountability

CECORE is committed to transparency and responsible use of funds. All donations are allocated according to our program priorities and are included in our annual financial reports. Donors who request it will receive a donation receipt and a short report on how their contribution was used in CECORE’s programmes.

Community Members

Some People Need Help And We Give It!

We have contacts in many of the communities around the country, through persons we have interacted with in one way or the other.

Community members can also contact us in case of a need for our services especially in peacebuilding, conflict resolution or conflict sensitive planning.

Media

We invite media personnel and houses to partner with us to contribute to a peaceful society. We can support training in ethical as well as peace reporting.

The media is a vital partner when it comes to advocacy on issues of peace and development as it is from a peaceful society that comes development.

Volunteers and Interns

Over the years, CECORE has received and worked with volunteers and interns from both within the country and globally; coming either as part of an academic requirement, or to gain practical experience in our area of work. The duration at CECORE would depend on both the availability of opportunities as well as space.

The volunteers cater for their needs but the organisation may offer to arrange for their safe accommodation. When based in the office, the office facilities are at their disposal.
